Over The Counter Model

Home treatment systems are available that can effectively remove chlorine and other chemical contaminants, however, none have the capability to destroy disease causing virus, bacteria and parasites.

DIMENSIONS: 15.75" high x 14 " wide x 5.25" deep.

INSTALLATION: easily self-installed in minutes by replacing the existing aerator on any faucet with the Sun-Pure diverter valve. No tools are required for installation. Can be placed on the counter-top within six feet of the sink. Plugs into any standard electrical wall outlet.

PORTABLE: the Sun-Pure counter top model can be removed in minutes and reinstalled in any location such as motor homes, vacation homes or hotel rooms.

SERVICE: filter cartridges and ultraviolet lamp are replaced every (12) to (14) months delivering (1,400) gallons of purified water at a cost of .05c per gallon.

WARRANTY: the Sun-Pure ultraviolet water treatment system is warranted against defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year.

SUN-PURE UNDER COUNTER MODEL

INSTALLATION: can be installed by anybody capable of using a screwdriver and a hand drill. Installation requires the drilling of a 1/2" hole through the sink top for faucet mounting and installation of a self piercing saddle clamp on the cold water line. Plugs into any electrical wall outlet.

OPERATION: purified water is delivered thru the gooseneck faucet by pushing down on the faucet handle or by locking the handle in the up position for continuous delivery. Gooseneck faucet swivels for convenience.

THE SUN-PURE "SIX STEP" WATER PURIFICATION SYSTEM

STEP ONE: Cleans the water:
Large, heavy duty micron sediment filters remove dirt, rust, scale, silt, and other suspended particles including cysts such as crypto-sporidium and gardia to produce sparkling clean, clear water.

STEP TWO: Removes chemicals:
A molded carbon block filter "carbon compressed under high pressure" removes chlorine, THM's "chloroform-carbon tetrachloride", chlorinated solvents, herbicides, pesticides and other related volatile organic hydrocarbons.

STEP THREE: Removes Heavy Metals:
The Engelhard "ATS" lead sorbent matrix mixed with the carbon block filter irreversibly locks onto any lead in solution reducing the concentration well below EPA guidelines.

STEP FOUR: Destroys Microorganisms:
Filtered water leaving the pre-filter is passed thru an ultraviolet sterilization chamber to destroy disease causing virus, bacteria and parasites. Ultraviolet sterilization leaves nothing in the water and eliminates bacterial growth from contaminating the purified product water.

STEP FIVE: Reduces Fluorides and Heavy Metals:
Activated bone carbon also known as "calcium hydroxy-appatite" is well known for its ability to remove fluoride and many heavy metals such as aluminum and copper through absorption and ion exchange processes.

STEP SIX: Removes Chemicals, Bad Taste and Odors:
Granular activated carbon is used to absorb chemical contaminants of light molecular weight such as THM's, chlorinated compounds, and radon which can be displaced by the pre-filter after prolong use.
